Puregold eGift Terms & Conditions

Introduction

By converting your Sodexo+ Premium Pass digital gift certificate (hereby referred to as “S+ Digital GC”) credits within the ‘SHOP’ tab section of the Sodexo+ mobile application, you are bound by these Terms and Conditions (“T&C”). If you are accepting this T&C on behalf of a company, organization, government, or any other juridical person, you represent and warrant that (a) you are legally authorized to do so, (b) the entity agrees to adhere to the provisions of this T&C and (c) neither you nor the entity are barred from using the Sodexo+ app or accepting the T&C under the laws of applicable jurisdiction. 

Scope

This T&C covers all Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services Philippines Inc.’s (“Sodexo”) S+ Digital GC credits to Puregold powered by Giftaway (“Puregold”) eGift code conversion transactions within the Sodexo+ mobile application starting November 10, 2023.

Sodexo+ App eGift Conversion Terms

1. You (“you”, “your”, “yours”, “Customer” or “User”) may convert your S+ Digital GC to a unique Puregold eGift code within the ‘SHOP’ tab of the Sodexo+ app, as long as you have enough Premium Pass digital GC credits to convert within your Sodexo+ app.

2. Upon conversion, a unique alphanumeric code with an associated denomination based on its sequence will be sent directly to you, via in-app notification and/or email notification.

3. The User is responsible and accountable for the safekeeping of his/her received unique Puregold eGift code. The User acknowledges and agrees that Sodexo shall not be held responsible or liable, whether directly or indirectly, for any damages or loss (including, among others, stolen codes due to fault/negligence of the User) caused, sustained, or experienced by the user or any other person, in connection with the use or non-use, or any other action/inaction by the User in relation to the unique code. The same applies for unused unique codes that will expire within the validity period.

4. In the event of expired unique Puregold eGift codes, Sodexo, Puregold and/or Giftaway shall not refund, replace or reissue any amount to the User, whether in the form of Sodexo+ digital GC credits or Puregold eGift codes, or cash. 

IV. Puregold eGift Terms & Conditions 

a. All converted unique Puregold eGift codes are valid for redemption at any of the participating Puregold stores only.

b. Each Puregold eGift code has an equivalent validity date per denomination. This is reflected in the email notification sent from Sodexo via .

c. To redeem, simply go to your preferred participating Puregold store location.

Go to the Customer Service and fill out a ‘Code Slip’ based on the details of Puregold eGift code that was received in the Inbox of the Sodexo+ app.
Accomplish the ‘Code slip’ by writing the date of the visit, select ‘Giftaway’ as the ‘eGift partner’.
Write the ‘Voucher code’ in the ‘Reference Code’ field, the amount of the eGift code and the customer name with signature.
After filling out of the ‘Code slip’, select the item/s that will be purchased at Puregold.
Proceed to the cashier and present the accomplished ‘Code slip’.
Puregold frontliner will enter the ‘Reference Code’ to validate the eGift code and confirm the denomination.

Once the eGift code is validated, frontliner will select ‘Payout’ in the system to proceed with the transaction. If the total bill exceeds the amount of eGift code, user may pay the difference using other modes of payment.

d. Puregold eGift code may be used at no minimum spend and is valid for a single transaction, one-time use only. If the total value of the eGift code is not used up, there will be no change given. If the total bill exceeds your available Puregold eGift code value, the user will shoulder and pay the difference through any other payment modes accepted.

e. The Puregold eGift code is non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-extendable, non-voidable, and non-convertible to cash.

f. Sodexo shall not be responsible for any damages and/or inconveniences including but not limited to all illness/es, injury/ies, death/s, claim/s, liability/ies and/or cost/s suffered by the Customer, as the case may be, caused in whole or in part by the product/s and/or service/s received by the User using the Puregold eGift code. The User shall hold
g. Sodexo free and harmless from any claim, demand, suit, cause of action or liability in respect of any fault or negligence, in relation to any transaction where a Puregold eGift code was used, accepted or rejected. Sodexo makes no representation or warranties of any kind, including but not limited to the quality and/or merchantability of the products and/or services availed of using the Puregold eGift code.

h. The Puregold eGift code may be subject to other Terms & Conditions of Puregold and/or eGift denomination by Giftaway, as reflected on the https://giftaway.ph/card/puregold and https://giftaway.ph/terms. Puregold and Giftaway reserves the right to decide on all matters and disputes pertaining to the use of Puregold eGift codes.
